It is if you're Japanese, I suppose. I don't think that's the case for anyone else, unless you ignore extreme xenophobia and anti-LGBTQ policies.I don't think it's that great even for Japanese people. I've heard it is horrendous for work-life balance.

None, fascism and authoritarianism are rising globally. Everything, everywhere, is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
As an Aussie, I'd say we're doing fairly well down here.Yeah but your Christmases are in the Summer and that's just weird .
We had our main election the other year, which for us, had just as much tension as the US one. We had our own mini trump like figure who wanted to ruin us. He was the prime minister at the time (one the public never voted in) and only wanted what was in his best interest.
Fortunately, our public are kinda clued on and we stopped him.
I also live in the capital and we're pretty progressive here.
There are some signs that things have potential to go tits up, but we'll see. It's going good so far.

I have relatives in Australia who my dad is constantly in contact with. He said theyre worried about what Trump tariffs could beSure, that's always something that may effect us. It will be interesting. I could see many people just ignoring the US and dealing with other countries more.
