People keep talking about the possibility of going after the cartels with the approval of the Mexican government. But Ive always heard that the cartels control the government under the table. Is that not true?

Don't defend it. The fact he actually wants to sign big stuff on his first day is ludicrous. Inauguration Day is for taking the Oath, giving a speech, and spending the rest of the day at parties and balls. The fact he is more interested in unleashing hell than partying and living it up says a lot.
