I'm talking places like Chick-fil-A. Like what if people have a name that's hard to pronounce and they don't get it? They get my name wrong all the time and mine is not that difficult. It's just fucking annoying. Just assign people a number.

Or give them a nickname or made up name you'll remember for 5 or so minutes.

Just say your name is Joe.
You gotta laugh. That is the one thing at the end of your life you will not wish you did less of.
Yeah, its not hard to say John or something if you have a wacky name. I dont have a problem with this.

Numbers are better. Places like chick fil a and Starbucks do it to make it personal. But I don't fucking care

I have a name that almost nobody pronounces correctly, that when they ask my name I have to spell it out and they still end up saying it wrong. It's a fairly minor annoyance that doesn't affect any other part of my day.
Sack to crack, going to town
You would be very surprised the amount of people that will either ignore when their number is called or straight up don't know their numbers. The average person is more likely to pay attention to their name or a butchered pronunciation of it
I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness.
Reminder that there is absolutely nothing stopping you from giving them a funny fake name

They're likely getting issues with people taking orders that aren't theirs, because customers either don't pay attention or are assholes. Associating a name with orders makes that less likely to happen.

But yeah, if you have a hard-to-pronounce name just make up one you'll remember.

Since I tend to use google pay a lot, and my mad dogg username is attached to it everytime I order out it defaults to "mad".

I just started using that everywhere that asks for a name. "Sandwich for mad!" Yeh, thats me.

Tell them your name is Donald Trump, and if they give you a funny look, just say, "Yeah, I know, it's confusing" and when they call out for you, watch all the other people in the place look around in confusion. Be sure to deny ever saying the name you gave them was Donald Trump if they point you out.
Without truth, there is nothing.

I had a friend with last name Ng (not super rare, if you live in a diverse area of the US), which was never heard correctly, so he'd say N. G. to spell it, and get things for "Engee". He eventually started saying Smith.

Thirteen and thirty, fourteen and forty, fifteen and fifty, sixteen and sixty, seventeen and seventy, eighteen and eighty, nineteen and ninety are the worst contenders, but it's easier to understand if you just say each number individually.

Say your name is honey bun.
