Three should have had a proper ending, but they decided to go with another cliffhanger, and now the entire fan base has evaporated. After 2 is probably the best time to dip out. Everyone is back home and safe and there are no looking threats that you know about unless you've played anything that released after it. It's the only game that didn't end in a cliff hanger if you choose to believe the letter at the end is just a friendly hello. Anyone who only played the numbered titles and lost interest while waiting for 3 is truly blessed.
It's also been 1,318 days since Dragon Quest 12 was announced.
Square Enix gonna Square Enix.

KH3 is honestly the ending to the trilogy that comprised itself, BbS, and DDD. It's a whole different saga, tonally.
If you think that's bad, lest I remind you that its been 2550 days since Elder Scrolls 6 was teased with no further information.

Whats a radio?No soap!
And six years since the restart of Metroid Prime 4s developmentAt least we got a trailer a few months ago
Brother, do not rush it. 3 was god awful.KH3 had a lot of issues but a rushed development was NOT one of them. Just the opposite actually so why would it help 4?

Whats a radio?Video killed the radio star.

Shenmue, they kickstarted teh third game and still didn't end the story. Worse it didn't even progress the story.

For the simple reason that I owned a DS and not any of the other thirteen billion platforms that had a plot-important installment. I lost interest in those days so freaking hard that I actually owned the 2.5D version for over a decade without playing it, lol.
Brother, do not rush it. 3 was god awful.I mean, it's been 3 years almost. Idk if I'd consider expecting at least a trailer since then "rushing" anything.

At least there havent been 5 spinoff games across 4 consoles, 2 mobile games, and a short but confusing video series between KH3 and KH4... yet.I'd rather have that because that's something to play
Kingdom Hearts is no stranger to long waits. Its hardly dead. 1000 days is just a way of making 2.74 years sound longer than it is.2000/2 days
The lack of Final Fantasy cameos in KH3 really, really, REALLY took a lot away from it to me. I kinda don't care much about the KH lore in and of itself. It was just an apparatus to serve more Disney and Final Fantasy goodness.Seriously.
If it's not doing that then.......I kinda just don't care.
