Depends on what they are buying. But I do understand the increase in traffic beforehand. I live in MN and if there is going to be storm, there is an increased chance I will go to the store first. Not because I am freaking out, but maybe I had planned to go out and do stuff, including eating, but now I have decided to stay home so I need extra food for a meal or two.
