Been doing that because my late parents always told me "You never know...." and I am screaming the same tune in 2025. I shop double, pantry and perishable, usually I almost always never have to bother refilling the pantry unless I need maybe a few items low on because for the most part the pantry is stacked. Perishable, I like to cook, others don't, so I'll get maybe $50 worth of red meat, seafood, lunchmeat, and dairy. The rest is deal specials I come across on frozen junk.My man!
