Start with Elevated push up on the back of a sturdy chair. Easier than just trying to go whole hog on regular pushups on the ground.
I'm not that bad off. I feel like doing three sets of ten chest to floor for a week will be fine and reawaken some shit. About fifty five pounds and some odd years ago I could probably do 100 without stopping. Kids (read stress), age, beer, and laziness finally caught up to me.
