Name a TV show you dismissed at first but ended up loving.

For me atleast, its because the name makes it sound silly but its also very serious. And youd think its a show for teenage girls, but its really a show for everyone.

At first glance, it might just look like a women power show but its also more than that, preaching self power inside each character. Each team member plays an important role and gets their time in the spotlight.

Also it had an awkward and slow start, where they had to film an entire season before anything aired. The show doesnt find itself until the second season

Parks and Rec, as has been mentioned. Took a couple tries to plow through S1 but from the first ep of S2 onward all was good.

I remember trying to watch it when it was first on TV when I was a kid and thinking it was the dumbest show ever. Then I finally got around to watching it when I was in my 20s and realized what a hilarious show it is and what I had been missing.
