It's a done deal with Trump as President. He will persuade them.Inbound shipments of gold bars and Tesla cars.
Centrists and both siders, how can you justify this?
Centrists and both siders, how can you justify this?I'd imagine they're too busy blaming the Democrats for [insert current event] to try :v
Let's be real...there is very few of those on this board. But they are loud -- e.g., the Champions of Gaza.
interracial marriage isn't going away, I think that's one thing that conservatives won't let go off.

"They won't take away Roe, it's too good of a carrot on a stick for their base'Pretty sure he meant; they like the vp, like it
"They won't take away gay marriage, that's settled"
"They won't take away interracial marriage, because we've had it for a long time"
Pretty sure he meant; they like the vp, like itThat doesn't matter. Conservatives think they are above the law, so if they make interracial marriage illegal, it won't apply to their marriages.

Getting rid of interracial marriage isn't going to be sold as "interracial marriage is bad. ban all interracial couples"
It's going to be sold as "yeah interracial marriage is cool if you're into that, but don't you think it should be left up to the states?"
And then all the Maga inter-racial couples will stupidly support that argument the same way they support everything else that is fucking them over.
interracial marriage isn't going away, I think that's one thing that conservatives won't let go off.Would you prefer an insult about your head being buried in the sand or buried up your own ass?
Interracial marriage is next once this passes.
All they need is some backwoods city marriage person ( forget the term) to deny a gay couple marriage certificate.Unfortunately yeah that looks to be the direction they're headed. My only saving grace is that I'm in California, so I'll at least still be able to marry my gf here (I'm Black, she's White).
It's for sure coming.
Not sure what would necessitate an overturn of interracial marriage, but I'm sure the right will think of something.
I wonder how the LGB without the T crowd feels now?Stupid and very confused, as per the usual.
Would you prefer an insult about your head being buried in the sand or buried up your own ass?
I'm trying to bring audience participation into my schtick.
I'd you prefer you stop talking to me if you're gonna be this rude, thanks.Buried up your own ass it is.

"Increased instances of religious persecution have been a consequence of the Court's ruling 10 years ago."
interracial marriage isn't going away, I think that's one thing that conservatives won't let go off.
In a media call on Tuesday, U.S Senator Mike Braun (R-Ind) said that the U.S. Supreme Court was wrong to legalize interracial marriage in a ruling that stretches back to Loving v. Virginia in 1967.
According to Braun, the decision should not have been made by the countrys highest court and instead been left to individual states. Even though some states had made interracial marriage illegal prior to the Supreme Court ruling.
idk, I look at all the different MAGA interracial couples around my area that I just find that hard to believe. the rest I could see going away, but maybe not this thing.
People don't think they'll touch interracial marriage specifically because Clarence Thomas has a white wife. I can see them BS'ing and saying no "future" marriages will be permitted because they're just that kind of evil.

You're talking about a group of people who have voted against their own interests for decades because the politicians robbing them blind have convinced them it's better for them to suffer than it is for a minority to prosper. Or as LBJ so eloquently put it half a century ago...
"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you." - LBJ
I wonder how the LGB without the T crowd feels now?I mean, that comic that appeared in another thread where he asks the MAGA dude who they're going after next and the MAGA dude just stares at him pretty much says what should be said.

Scarily yes, but which states will outlaw that in 2025?Red states. Haven't you been paying attention?
I'd you prefer you stop talking to me if you're gonna be this rude, thanks.Yeah well, we're don't exactly have patience for the "I'm gonna be woefully ignorant of what republicans have been very vocally saying they're going to do for almost a decade now" shtick any more.
The very same people that thought they wouldn't be impacted by Trump's fuckery, yet they are. Why would this be any different?
"He doesn't mean MY marriage. I voted for him."
I'm not sure where they can move the goalposts to in this scenario. "oh honey our marriage is void, but at least ____" own the libs I guess? That's exactly what they'd say, yes.

Scarily yes, but which states will outlaw that in 2025?Red states in the South for sure. If you look at which states refused to overturn laws regarding interracial marriage, it was pretty much just the South that were the last holdouts when Loving v Virginia was decided.
