Source: A chapter in RE9 will take place in space

From what I read of the interview. It sounds like the chapter will be set on a space station that's floating out in space, and it will feature the return of an old, fan favorite RE character and who you'll be playing as in the chapter.

Yeah me too. After the last Resident Evil game with werewolves, vampires, and a guy with X-Men/Magneto powers. The series going into space seems like it would be the logical step for this horror game franchise to go too. And heck there's been some pretty good space horror games made in the past, and considering the massive budget these recent Resident Evil games have had. I'm sure a Resident Evil game in space would kick ass.
