Do you like the reliance on the 3-Pointer and driving the lane? The kinda lack of mid-range and dominant interior game?

threes aren't even in the top five things wrong with the nba
no
Biggest problems aren't even how the game is played it is the; bad refs, players complaining to the refs, foul baiting has become an art, way too many stoppages in the game due to refs, refs taking over the games, TV personalities constantly trashing the game, and Draymond Green being forced upon us.

Not at all. I'm not always one of those people that automatically thinks stuff was better in the past but I seriously don't like it being just jacking up a bunch of 3's. I watched highlights of a Boston game right at the beginning on the year and the two teams put up over 90 three pointers. It was more like a practice shoot around than anything else.

I miss the era of big men that actually played down on the block. I miss a lot of things and dislike the current product quite a bit.

Shooting more 3s than 2s is annoying to watch for the few teams that do it, but foul baiting and inconsistent refs are much worse to the game.

Nah but draining logo 3s aren't the problem. It's a whistle heavy game. Kills any momentum or interest I could have in it. God forbid there be minimal contact while multiple people are crowded around the basket.

No, but I've never liked watching basketball.

I like it, but it was better prior to the 3 point revolution.

Sports optimized for efficiency arent as fun as imperfect sports. That goes for basketball with the spread offense that prioritizes 3s, layups and free throws (and players flop for fouls), and baseball with the three true outcomes (home runs, walks, strikeouts) with pitchers using max output, requiring multiple pitching changes.

I'm deathly afraid to be one of these hating oldheads. Current NBA definitely has problems but so did every era and as flawed as the game can be, it will never have any deal breakers for me.

I argued with a friend who'll take it to the end that post ups into a fade was the best move in the world. Dude doesn't realize that a fadeaway is a horrible shot selection and just because it looks cool doesn't mean it's efficient.

Nostalgia is toxic in this sense. People are too caught up into believing their era is the best and nothing can top it.
Don't like it? Don't watch it. It's that simple

Haven't liked the NBA since before the Wizards were the Bullets.
Have you seen the Yellow Sign?

More efficient, higher skill, better athleticism - none of that means more fun to watch.

And in the modern NBAs case, it certainly isnt.
