Only thing I would not want to see carry over into more games is the interactive defensive mechanics.

Turn Based has always been more of a comfort zone for people with lower reflexes, or people who want to relax while playing. As fun as the game is as a whole package, this is the one thing that holds it back from a perfect 10 for me.

For those who like it, I'm glad you do and honestly it's enjoyable enough for me *for this title*, but I don't want it showing up in EVERY turn based going forward, like how the Action genre spent the last 10 years thinking every game should be a Soulslike.

This isn't really what people normally think of as post apocalyptic. The Fracturing is a bit metaphorical and is relevant to the plot and not just a thing that happened to set the stage.

Done everything in post-game now except for the super boss, the one called Simon . Phase 2 is...going to take a lot of practice. x_x And no I refuse to use a cheap one shot build lol.

I'm tried it out today and played for 30 minutes. It's charming but it has a slow beginning. I'll stick with it and play more later tho.

That definitely makes me feel better, since the rave reviews and some of the stuff I've checked out so far already were making me pretty interested in this game, it's just this one nitpick that kind of worried me due to previous experience with brown and grey AAA games.

This game is pretty much the opposite of "brown and grey"

It's actually a lot of red and white, but there's a decent amount of blue, yellow, and green.

Only "brown and grey" place is the forgotten battlefield.

Honestly the only thing off so far is the lip syncing. Otherwise this feels superb for a first game from a small developer. Rivals a ton of AAA slop. The music, graphics, voice acting and story are very very good. It's really really damn good
