Could be based on principle or anything else.

I sold my Tesla stock last year. My brother just texted me to buy United Health stock because it tanked and it's going back up, and I don't know how to respond.. lol.
Less is more. Everything you want, isn't everything you need.

I felt that way about UNH. But now that it tanked. Making money is more important than morals so I bought some.

My brother also texted me to buy UNH this morning lol.

Air Canada

I tried to double my money with it after covid and I bought and sold it at the wrong time. Trading and holding it for years I gave up and dumped it.

Yeah no go for me. Husband got rid of most of his grants & options earlier this month (he left the company a year ago). He still has some underwater options.

Yeah I completely closed out my Tesla position shortly after the election.

As for UNH, I actually am considering buying a couple leaps of that.

Heres the thing with UHC. They make a ton of money as a pharmacy benefit manager. If the thing Trump wants where drug companies cant charge more in the US vs anywhere else in the world goes through that entire revenue stream disappears.

stocks with quite low market cap from now on. probably.

But I am interested in one more meme stock, Wolfspeed. not quite meme but a bit dangerous at the moment.

Especially considering they need the money they got granted during the previous administration.

Trump was all bluster about lowering drug prices in term 1 and I expect that to be the same this time around. Like most of his policies, he thinks he can just say things into existence without having any real mechanisms in place to achieve what he is touting.

The stock market will continue to be tumultuous but my net worth hit 420k the other day. Its actually a bit over that but I just wanted to say 420. Hoping to hit 500k soon.
