Elden Ring, or really any Souls game. That used to be me until I played PS5 Demons Souls. Then I just had the ah ha moment and fell in love with the genre. Ive played all of them now save for Sekiro which I plan to get to eventually
I just don't enjoy them.
same for FFTI think it ultimately boils down to the speed for me. The game is just so fucking slow, and its even worse if you play the psp remake. I get that it was groundbreaking for its time, but I feel like way better games in the genre have come out since.
it's way too slow, I hate the graphics, and the entire thing is stupid and generic
Mirror's Edge.
I like the works, I like the design, I like the gameplay.
I don't like the first-person parkour giving me motion sickness and a migraine at the same time.
Metal Gear Solid 5 dulled my love for the seriesAs far as Im concerned MGS ended with 4
the Diablo series (2-4; haven't played the first). You, my friend, are dead to me! LOL. Kidding. I love the Diablo games. That's about all I play. I admit I have not played 1 either. And yes, they are mindless for the most part. But that's kinda what I want in my games. To unplug from rl, so to speak
Baldur's Gate 3. There are a lot of aspects I really like, and I've tried to get into it multiple times, but ability checks in conversation absolutely kills my interest. I don't know if I'm just extraordinarily unlucky, or if I'm supposed to accept that I fail the majority of them and am thus locked out of quests, outcomes, rewards, etc., until the next playthrough when I get to try again, because the alternative is excessive save scumming, which is tedious and unfun and kind of renders the whole experience meaningless.A bad roll can equal a permament miss?
PoE2. And for that matter PoEIm guessing you mean Path of Exile, because Pillars of Eternity also a series.
A bad roll can equal a permament miss?It seems like it, but I will be the first to admit I am not an expert on BG3 mechanics and could be missing something, but there are definitely conversations, especially during story progression, one-off events, conversations where a failed rolls leads to combat, conversations during combat where combat might either end or continue depending on the outcome, etc., that don't seem like there'd even be an opportunity for a second attempt without reloading, and I'm like 85% sure I locked myself out of certains quests and rewards via failed rolls while talking to NPCs.
Loved GTA3, hated VC. I just don't like it for some reason. I haven't tried SA, 4, or 5 yet.If you don't try any other, at least do San Andreas.
Im guessing you mean Path of Exile, because Pillars of Eternity also a series.Yes path of exile. I havent tried pillars of eternity.
Although, PoE is nowhere as bad as AC.
