I swear I only pull 2 star shiny cards now. In the past week I've pulled shiny Zapdos, Lucario, and 3 Marowaks along with a couple 1 star shiny cards. Couldn't tell you the last time I pulled a non-shiny 2 star.

The trainer cards look pretty good though. Lyra is inverse Cyrus, probably an upgrade over Leaf for cards with 3+ retreat. That headband seems neat for certain decks too though its pretty situational.

Elemental Switch is fantastic, its a Dawn for fire/water/lightning decks that doesnt tie up support. Very interested in seeing how Lightning decks do with the new tool.

I have a feeling Ho-Oh will synergize with other cards better than Lugia. Lugia only really feels good if you can get multiple Phoenix Turbos off before attacking. That seems like a tall order with 3 attack cost.

My sub finally ended because I got tired of getting garbage for months on end, and now with just 2 packs a day I've gotten 1000% better cards, lots of 2S and shinies and even the crown card from this pack in the one week without the sub. Still not going to bring me back with that.

I really wanted to like this game, but I feel like you have no choice but to just draw from the new packs for a month before you can even think to switch. I still haven't gotten a second Sylveon Ex so I kinda have to keep opening the same boosters. Trading is still a massive pain too. If I didn't know several people IRL playing this I would have just dropped it a while ago

The lack of reruns is also egregious - if you weren't a day 1 player you simply can't get everything.

Edit: lmao, got a 2S and a 1SS card today, I find it hard to believe this week of 8+ 2S or greater cards is really coincidence and not just trying to rope me back into a sub after I cited the shit-ass rates as the reason for canceling my sub
