I don't think Kruk does many road games. I think he does some traveling, unlike Larry Andersen on the radio side. Though I generally watch them on MLB.tv with the audio overlay to listen to the radio guys call the game.

Huh, Pete Alonso just passed Darryl Strawberry today for the most homers as a Met.

At like, 255 or something?

For what I always kinda imagine as a more storied franchise in MLB history, that seems pretty damn low for their top franchise home run lead. >_>

What the hell happened to baseball in the last month or 2? The Dodgers, Cubs, Yankees, Mets, Tigers were running away with things, and now all of them are hanging on division leads by a thread, have lost a majority of their games since June, or are now wading in wild card unpredictability.

This is all feeling like another year where Houston sneaks in and wins another WTF World Series.

I like this Vinnie Pasquantino RBI tear. Shame KC couldn't pull off the sweep of Washington but it's kind of hard to beat anybody if you spot them 5 first inning runs. At least they made it interesting by tying it in the 8th before Carlos Estevez unraveled again. They're more than likely not going to make a wildcard spot but at least there's been some semblance of offense over the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the once brilliant starting pitching has been decimated by injuries and whatever the hell is going on with Seth Lugo. At least old man Wacha and rookie revelation Noah Cameron have been holding down the fort. I remember people buzzing about Cameron in spring training this year but I don't believe anybody expected him to be this effective and reliable. If not for those freaks in Oakland, he'd probably be a strong contender for Roty.
