This, basically. The NA one tells me it's going to be some kind of an adventure. The JPN one could be anything. Hell, it could be a flower-themed bejeweled game for all I know. Plus, I actually like the design choice in general of the NA one. I feel it was well done and makes me curious on what lies ahead of her.

Thank Goodness Cleopatra's fortune finally purged. I found that way too funny, but I would always see it in my amp and did bump it a little. The JPN cover art here really could just be anything the game. She is doing alchemy (if transferring from one tube to the other counts) but it's not far and away better.

Totori is specifically the one about the journey. The *only* one about the journey. The JP is generic alchemy, the NA is specific to the game as the only one where you're not tied at the hip to some city/town.

The JP one is just about as useful as throwing a barrel and a puni on the cover.

If I knew absolutely nothing about the series, I could at least tell that the NA cover looks like a JRPG game. I LOVE JRPG games. So it would get me to pick the case up and take a look at the back of it. The JPN cover doesn't give me the slightest idea of what kind of game it would be.

JP one. Though that box was also a US one as well. I have it.

That said, I loved this game a lot. Was the first one on PS3 I felt was actually RPG-esque to my taste.

What's amusing about the NA one is that it doesn't depict anything in the game. Totori's hometown, Alanya, is much smaller, and Arland isn't coastal.

But, anyway, I voted DX. Gust recognizes this as the best artwork which is why it was used for the anniversary limited art prints.

As far as I know, this series is about mixing elixirs and performing alchemy. So on that note, the JPN art sells the game more.
