Sam Raimi has a history of shoving his brother and actors he likes into his projects in any way he can.

Didn't he used to be a bit of a self absorbed jerk but then had a stroke or something and suddenly became a religious conservative fuckwad afterwards?
The internet says this (and he definately did have a stroke) but I think it's just an excuse to justify him being asshole.
I don't think he changed that much, I think social media just exposed who a lot of people really are.
