Where abouts in China? In a major city or some backwater village?
You cant live in Hong Kong or Macau.
The life of someone in China with $10 mil would be very different than the life of the average personIf you have $10 mil your life's set in 99% of the settled world.
no thanks i dont want to live in a even more fascist countryhttps://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/b/ba7085ac.jpg
Sounds like a really great deal, not sure what a downside would be?

Surrendering citizenship and not being allowed to be out the country for more than 30 days per year. You mean I don't have to be in the US anymore AND I'll have the money to leave China for 30 days a year, while I currently have the capacity to leave the US zero days a year?
Do you want to live in an even more rampant consumerist society where all that matters is having money and showing off your status with even more blatant corruption, more blatant bigotry, more ridiculous nationalism, and way less freedom of expression? Because you will get that (thankfully you will have enough money to show everyone how high status you are).Yeah, the only thing that's really changing is the cuisine available lmao. With 10 mil, trust me, I'll be ok with this situation.
It's much safer and the people are friendlier though (also the food is better and the cost of living is lower).

Citizenship and residency are not the same thing. I never plan to live in my country of birth again, but Im not about to give up my citizenship. If things continue trending the way they are in the US, citizenship won't mean much of anything anyway, so it's really a non concern. I wouldn't even visit the US from China if given the opportunity lol.
Also, as much as it must suck to never be able to leave the US, Im sure you can appreciate that not everybody is in that position and that for some people, losing the ability to travel freely would be a major downside.Well, sure? I'm not them though. This hypothetical is purely a positive for some and the fact that people can't seem to grasp that...
gotta love how people who claim to care about LGBT rights want to move to a country where we are treated worse and they would not dare speak up in our defense in said countrySweetie you need to get some rest and think about other things for five minutes.
