Yes, I know how gamepass works, =/ FF16 wasn't on gamepass when the PC release came out (all it had was a epic store and steam store release), and didn't come to the service until the xbox version first dropped. The game just straight up significantly underperformed on PC, which the vast majority of it's numbers coming from the PS5 side.
On the xbox, I would have figured there would have been some sort of straight up purchases that would make porting worth it to go alongside the game pass players using that to play the game.
