Ive torn my lat. Its not fun.

Very uncomfortable right now.
When I stopped exercising and working out, I remember this one time at work reaching for a pen that had fallen on the floor and had this intense pain in my shoulder/shoulder blade area that I'd never felt before. It was truly embarrassing how badly I had let my body go

Yeah, but ultimately youre screwed either way. If you dont stay in shape, youre susceptible to injuries, but staying in shape requires actions that can easily lead to injuries.
I have a bulging disc in my lower back

I had a torn labrum in my right shoulder. I had surgery to fix it, but I need to keep exercising because even with the surgery, the muscle has to do more stabilizing than before. I learned that the hard way when I stopped and it started dislocating again

I suspect I may be developing arthritis in my left knee.

This is a signature.
to everyone in the same boat.

I suspect my slouching posture contributed to it.

I pulled my lower back picking up a paper towel. All I could do was lie there in pain for about thirty minutes before I crawled up the deck stairs and got some ice packs. My next few days were shot.
Let's get down to brass tacks. How much for the ape?

You have my sympathy. Ive been dealing with post-traumatic arthritis in my foot for about 8 years now. It took me a while to adjust mentally to being in pain all the time. It has good days and bad days, but it always hurts to some degree.
