I love those games. Well, except for 2. 2 kinda sucks. But Im hyped for online brother bands!
Wait what? Did I miss something in the direct?
context: a Star Force collection actually did get announced, just not in the US broadcast of the directOh. These games had great story. I'm glad this is a thing

I know nothing about the starforce games, but always excited to see more Megaman content!Basically just Battle Network but with a 3D battle system. 1 is the best story wise, while 3 is the best gameplay. 2 is a mistake
Tomorrow you guys will complain about no Mega Man again.correct, and they're... well, also correct
Tomorrow you guys will complain about no Mega Man again.I mean, to be fair, this isnt a new Mega Man game
Point is you guys will find something else to complain about regardless. It's amazing how many vocal Mega Man fans we have. Emphasize on the word vocalNo complaints. I consider myself one of the more positive MM fans. Im happy for anything Mega Man
No complaints. I consider myself one of the more positive MM fans. Im happy for anything Mega ManWish more was like you then
Mega Man is basically my neurodivergent hyper fixation/special interest. Has been since I was like 5
I also own multiple copies of the collections. I own the classic, X, BN, and Zero/ZX collections on both Switch and Steam >_>I have really gained a new appreciation for the zero series once we are able to play them officially on bigger screens. Like I owned the original mega man zero collection on the DS alongside a sole mega man zero 3 GBA cart, but my hands used to cramp up doing the constant L dashes, charging both the saber and the buster at the same time required for the speediest and sweatiest zero gameplay. Once these games dropped on the PS4 and switch with us getting better button customization now its all like "ahhhhhh. Yeah, I get it now. I get what the fans was about".
Ill do what I can to support the franchise. Ive been doing a run through of the Zero/ZX collection on Steam and Im at ZX Advent. On track to earn all the achievements which I also did on the Switch version. Fuck I love the Zero series
I just hope if the collection does well, they actually do Star Force 4. The plans they had before they canceled it actually sounded cool.Oh? What were the plans?
Oh? What were the plans?Geo and a descendant of Lan become outlaw hackers.
I just hope if the collection does well, they actually do Star Force 4. The plans they had before they canceled it actually sounded cool.I think we're at a point where if we do see something in this style of games we'd see a new series. Legacy Collection is one thing, but Capcom seems averse to making actually new Megaman titles. Though Capcom did recently finish porting all of the Ace Attorney games. If we see a new AA Game (preferably a follow up to Great Ace Attorney, personally) then I'd say Megaman has hope.
I would almost be just as hyped for a Legends Collection as I have been for Battle Network and Star Force.I would be more hyped if it meant a new mml game
Nice. When they do Legands, they should release Legends 3 since it was apparently close to completion.
Legends is next

Yeah, I'm hyped for this collection too. But to say Star Force 2 was a mistake is pushing it. It brought good concepts to the table. My biggest issue is the high rate of random encounters. This is by far my biggest gripe with 2. Every time I come back to it I remember just how ridiculous the encounter rate is, then time makes me forget and think "it wasn't THAT bad, right?"
I never played star force 2. If you could think of any one NES, SNES, genesis, PC engine, PS1 or saturn jrpg with siht encounter rates what would star force 2's be comparable to?Honestly, I couldn't tell any difference. Maybe I'm just not observant enough.
