Haven't seen Midnight club but all the others were pretty solid. I think each one was less interesting than the last though.

The Haunting of Hill House.

I watched half of hill house and midnight mass and I'm glad I checked out when I did. Hill House was just miserable , and Midnight Mass lost me when they revealed the circumstances and the rest of the show was silly vampire stuff.

I will say though, as well as being miserable and filled with thoroughly unlikeable characters, Haunting of Hill House scared the shit out of me.

Although, fuck it I'll keep ranting about hill house why the hell did the suicidal girl turn into the bent neck lady?? Like it was a cool idea at first, but as soon as I put any thought into it it made no sense. Just... why would it even happen? Upon killing herself she got flung back in time to haunt herself...? Whaaaa? The ghosts time travel against their will now?
Ghosts are cool.
I voted Hill House but it was tough. I absolutely adore Midnight Mass and Bly Manor as well. Usher was really well done too and Midnight Club was the least good but I was still plenty invested for the whole season.

Loved both Hill House and Bly Manor, but preferred Bly Manor.
Never watched The Midnight Club. Voted Hill House, but it just barely edged out Midnight Mass. Usher isn't far behind, and Bly Manor is a bit behind that, but it was still really good.
The answer to the question nobody asked.
Midnight Mass, IMO.

beautiful ending.

Hill House but you can argue Midnight Mass

even though it might have been the weakest series, I also had a soft spot for The Midnight Club.

I remember reading through the book, as a kid, and seeing the story being adapted in the way it was really hit the right notes, for me.

Hill House for me. I think it's fucking spectacular. Gonna do a rewatch for the Halloween season this year.

Midnight Mass takes the silver medal. Holy Crap Hamish Linklater was incredible in this. I don't really get too fussed about Emmy nominations and wins but I genuinely don't understand how he wasn't nominated.

Bly Manor is my least favourite by a decent margin but it's still very good.

I'm not a horror guy, if I do venture into horror I prefer a Supernatural/ghost story and he's been great at that.

But overall Mike Flanagan hasn't had a miss yet for me. I'm always going to give his work my attention.

Absolutely one of the best performances I've ever seen.

Haunting of Hill House very slightly ahead of Midnight Mass. On average they're even closer, but Haunting gets the nod for being 10 episodes rather than 7. Bly Manor and Usher are also about even and really good, but not on the level of the other two. I really just consider these one big anthology show, and I'd put it in my top 3 or 4 TV shows of all time.

Midnight Club isn't always grouped with the other 4, and I haven't seen it. I heard it's not as good as the others.

I would say Midnight Club is one of the better ones. It's hard on my soul though what with it being about kids with terminal illnesses

Never seen any of them. Is Midnight Club the DUB Edition? That'd make me interested.

I loved Midnight Mass, but decided to give the nod to Fall of the House of Usher.

I enjoyed Haunting of Hill House, but it was such a huge departure from the book

Hill House

Midnight Mass is second, but nothing even comes close to being as unsettling as Hill House.

Hill House > Midnight Mass > Fall of House Usher > Bly Manor

Didn't see midnight club. I really didn't gel with Bly Manor at all, it was a huge disappointment to me

It's a bit different, in that it was very clearly intended to be an ongoing series rather than a miniseries. But any complaints about it not being as neatly wrapped-up or as tightly paced as the others are overshadowed by just how fucking good Ruth Codd is in the show - it's worth watching for her performance alone, anything else is a bonus.
