I've heard this is actually an indication that your immune system is actually really good.

I've a friend who does not react to vaccines. They have never even had a fever. Their immune system is trash, unfortunately.

The flu vaccine is always easy breazy for me. The Covid one always makes me sick for 1-2 days. But still better than the alternative.

Are healthy people here still getting yearly COVID vaccines, or is it just people with health concerns? I haven't been offered one since 2021, and have never been offered the flu one in my life.

What are you implying? I've taken every COVID vaccine I've been offered.

What do you mean by offered? They are readily available and recommended to get yearly at your doctor's office or pharmacy. Most insurances cover them.

the last time i gotten the shot. all that happened was being extra tired for a few days and having a raised bump where they used the vaccine (covid arm).

the benefit outweighs the risk.

Well, up until a few weeks ago, I'd have guess that yes, they were.

Now that it's going to require a script and to pay out of pocket because of Trump and Kennedy... we'll probably see a nice fat resurgence, if not a second pandemic that starts in America this time. Americans can't afford health care, and these vaccines will be the first thing that stops happening.

Ground zero as the latest variant becomes super under Trump's watch. Wonder if he's going to be his last high score of 900,000. (This last paragraph is mostly sarcasm and satire.)

That's... kind of in flux right now. Kennedy has worked hard to kneecap access to all but the people you can't handwave or justify not giving a vaccine to. It's basically just a senior citizen shot at this point, when the senior can afford it.

Do you get the yearly flu vaccine? Im never offered any vaccines, I have to go out of my way to get them. Its still the right thing to do
I never know how the covid vaccine will affect me. Sometimes I feel like shit for about a day afterward (but fine after that). I've learned to schedule my vaccine appointments for when I have the next day off so if I need to lay in bed all day I can.

I've always been this way, it's just been a while since the last one, and I was a fool to not get it earlier. Mandatory cause I start teaching this week.
