The Reds being young dudes with little to no playoff experience was one of the downsides we'd have to deal with, but I'm sure Gavin Lux gave tips and helped the guys out with that. Greene looked good throwing straight gas to Edman, though.

Still, it's gonna be a tough night. Snell no-hit the Reds last (?) year, remember.

Yankees-Red Sox game was a good watch at least because there was some great pitching. But man, as a Yankees fan, it was pretty pathetic. It's the same thing every time.

If the Yankees don't make it out of this series, I think I'd like to see Mariners vs. Blue Jays ALCS and Brewers vs. Reds NLCS. I guess Mariners vs. Brewers would be the ideal WS matchup since then we'd have a guaranteed first time World Series champion. Blue Jays and Reds haven't won since the 90's though, so I wouldn't mind seeing them win too.

Texans or Jaguars might be closer. The Mariners have never been to a World Series, and the Texans and Jaguars have never been to a Super Bowl, but the Vikings have. The Browns and Lions haven't been to a Super Bowl, either, but they do have some NFL titles from the pre-Super Bowl era.

I'm not. At this point in my sports watching days, I couldn't care much if Seattle bombs out early in the playoffs again like past Mariner teams. I'd like to see them go far, and even win a championship, because it's fun as a fan.

Though, like other bad sports franchises. The Mariners have been a poorly runned team for a very long time, from top on down. I think they still are to this day, even though they pulled some good trades at deadlines, and the players are playing good. We'll have to see this offseason, when it comes to extending the contracts of key players like Josh Naylor, or if they continue to be cheap and let talent go.

I'm super excited for Saturday to watch the Mariners play though.

Hmm, I'll have to find someone else to root for now. I tend to be alright with most of the remaining teams winning, other than Yankees, Dodgers, Brewers and Cubs. Well, I suppose I'd root for the Cubs/Brewers if they had to face the Yankees in the World Series, though.

Mariners and Padres have never won it all, so that could be a cool matchup.
