No, because generally when it has happened I know of the thing it is they are referring to, I just also know of other things it could be referring to, and what I'm looking for is clarification on which of said things they are referring to. That said, it's been a while since that's happened as I do try to be more clear when that's the case.

Ive never been told that (because Im terminally online), but if I was I dont think Id take offense. I have cultural blind spots like everyone else, and some of those could be considered common knowledge to some people.

I dont wanna be those people that act like anything they dont know about must not be important. Like I would never be proud I dont know whos playing in the Super Bowl, I dont like yucking someone elses yum.
