As I've been telling a buddy of mine, they really need to have Elie cameo in the Sky trilogy seeing as how she's traveled and knows a lot of the politicians in Zemuria. That would be really cool! I think any extra stuff they throw in would be so neat
Played for an hour after it went up. I took today off from work to play ithell yeah
I should add that this is my first Trails game, so Im hyped to finally get into this series.if you beat this first entry are you going to play the OG SC? or are you just going to wait until the Sky trilogy is remade?
if you beat this first entry are you going to play the OG SC? or are you just going to wait until the Sky trilogy is remade?Ill wait. The remake of SC is already confirmed. Im sure theyll remake the 3rd, Zero, and Azure as well.
the game feels really fresh to play, the updates to the combat feel really nice.
is the entire series going to get a remake like this?
I haven't played a single game in the series, but I downloaded the demo and got to the end of the Prologue (at least, I think it's the end; the father got a job offer and left his kids to their own devices). I kind of like it, though I wish in battle you could switch back to the action gameplay after going into the turn-based gameplay.Thats not the end, youll know its the end when it says youre done and shows you another trailer.
I'm pretty sure the voice actor for Nial is the guy who voices Van lol
Looked it up because I was curious, and he did sound familiar. Michael Allan SchneiderAw I love Cassandra. Thats awesome

Not Van, and also nothing I would have heard.
Anelace though is voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris who also voices Fie, and I very clearly heard that in her voice.

My copy still hasn't shipped.
Also, they better be remaking the whole trilogy, especially 3rd. That's "The Gap" that is keeping me from playing any of the later games. And it MUST get a physical copy.
Who's excitedThat was friday lol
2nd is already confirmed. Wouldn't make much sense to do 1 and 2 and skip 3 considering like 80% of the assets for 3 are recycled. That said, of the all the Trails games, it is easily the most skippable. There's like one important plot point that isn't covered super well in other games, the rest is either not relevant, or explained again when it is relevant.Yeah.
That was friday lolwhat was
what was
Trails in the Sky First Chapter day
That was friday lolWell that was when I made the topic so
I found a cave that definitely did not exist in the original LMAOI found that earlier today.
I found that earlier today.I'm guessing there's one in every region because I found one near Bose as well.
For anyone interested in trophies, it's a good opportunity to get the trophy for killing 8 enemies at once.

I found that earlier today. Also the 3.0 strategy rating and some others. Honestly beating the boss of the Prologue on Nightmare may require having all the Quartz you get from these achievement rewards.

Just started playing and it's really good. Then I looked up the series and there's so many games. Woah. I'm guessing they're going to remake the other liberl games, but what about the rest? Are they separate, stand alone stories? Do the crossbell or erebonia games hold up?Each arc is mainly its own story but they're all part of a whole with returning characters and continuing plot threads.
Yeah.3rd's mostly setup for them plus some closure to the Sky cast. It's technically not necessary but I feel it's the point where the series' overarching plot starts opening up and becoming more clear.
The 3rd Sky game is the only one I haven't played. I did a brief look into the story with a Youtube video, but I didn't really feel like I was missing anything when playing the Erebonia and Crossbell arcs.

Wait, xseed added playable characters to SC that weren't there originally?

I think that's not due to XSeed, but from the PSP portVander and Schwarzare recruitable in the final chapter of SC, but NOT in the original PC Japanese release.
Daybreak (Calvard Arc) is where the action/turn based hybrid starts, if you're wondering

This is going to be really unpopular to say (and this is not necessarily me recommending this course of action!) but you can play any arc on its own. Things that need to be explained get explained well enough. It's just extra special and fun and giggly if you've played the previous arcs first. Honestly I felt like Daybreak was really bad about this in particular because they hint at characters and you already know who they are if you've played the other games so if you haven't played those games those scenes probably seem goofy as fuck
