Who has been some of the most interesting behind the scene villians? Villians who have been manipulating/controlling other villians actions. Villains that may cause a bunch of heroes to need to team up to take them down.

Despite not having a bunch of detail on her and only learning about her real involvement at the end, Lyblac from Octopath Traveler certainly qualifies. How all eight tales all have roots in her actions was really nicely done.

Unicron. I recently rewatched Transformers movie so this one is fresh in my mind. That opening scene was masterfully animated
