Oh, please. Klipp has YEARS of this. His most public social media is nothing but endless dunks on Dems with completely dishonest out of context clips.
Greenwald wrote a literal book attacking the right wing and look at him now. You ever think for a second after maybe the tenth grifter follows this EXACT path that maybe it's too easy to take the Left for a ride? It's the exact Greenwald trajectory and a sure sign Klippenstein doesn't actually give a shit.
You wanna talk about his journalism, because he focused a LOT on bashing Dems for shit he doesn't cover for Republicans?
And don't even try to excuse this with "this is how he gets buzz!!!" His twitter gets far more play than his substack and that's where he's most active.
"I have no issue going after the cartels, but the president's not doing it legally" is not a controversial statement at all. The US has done it in the past.
I'm sorry, but the Syria test has yet to fail. That was a moral test people failed. Klippy wrote for a sstraight Russia disinformation site to give free publicity for one of the greatest mass murderers of the last sixty years.
We're just gonna have to agree to disagree on how much he attacks the right vs shitting on Dems, especially when you seem to be arguing about his "trajectory" not even what he's currently doing. I'm really bad at using social media and I haven't seen anything he's posted himself basically.
My whole point is that it SHOULD be a controversial statement and it's a moral and policy failure that it isn't because most of our politicians support endless police wars. Military action against cartels is not good or justified, in reality or hypothetically. Klippenstein is popular because he's a journalist willing to say that when most would take a line closer to what you have.
