Perhaps they're giving "Azrael goes crazy after breaking Bane and becomes an increasingly-violent vigilante, prompting Bruce to get himself back in the game" its own separate part instead of making it share space with "Azrael breaks Bane" and/or "Bat breaks Azrael"?

I mean, considering how they handled that killer's joke... this does not bode well.

Hopefully they make it true to the comics and azrael has lots of spikes, just lots and lots of 90s edgy comic book design, that cracked me up so much when I saw it I loved it.

Makes sense as I can see the "Lady Shiva trains Batman" plot taking up half the final movie, with the other half being Batman vs AzBats.

They actually looked like they were going to do things right for a little while there. We had Wonder Woman and Green Lantern: First Flight just a couple months apart. Then the next was Superman/Batman, which at least had the novelty of the team up angle. But pretty soon it became clear that those two were a fluke. In spite of Emerald Knights.

I am a big Batman fan, but I sure would like for Swamp Thing to get a turn. They could do no more Batman from now on and I would be content. Nobody's going to be able to outshine Kevin Conroy, anyway.

batman the long halloween was good and i say that as a person who was sick of batman even at that point

justice society world war 2 (i know it came out before batman) was good but some of the issues that will plague this did start here

green lantern beware my power was decent not great or anything but it was decent

legion of super heros was watchable

war world was bad and incoherent

and then crisis on infinite earths got worse and worse each part
