I have no real preference but in my experience WRPGs tend to have better stories while JRPGs have better gameplay

"My preference and first love is always jrpgs but I enjoy both and some of my best experiences have been wrpg based. But I also play a lot less wrpgs as a whole as it just doesn't seem like there are nearly as many of them as jrpgs. Console wise anyways."

I don't think I could do without either. I probably play more WRPGs, but it's a hard call.

WRPGs, for me; I like having the role-playing aspect be prominent whenever possible.

WRPGs. It's not even close-- although I do like a good JRPG, but honestly, it's been years since I played something new that I liked.

JRPGs. I still like certain WRPGs, but I definitely have a preference for JRPGs. JRPGs tend to have the battle systems and game OSTs that really gets me into the game. On the WRPG side I have always wished that there was more kingdoms of alamur: reckoning type of battle systems out there.
