4 weeks ago I got a filling for a tooth crack and 4 weeks later I'm in huge pain, like legit can't even function without tylonol kind of bad, it's especially painful at night, I just have to survive the next 3 days before I can get some face time with a dentist to find out what's wrong.

IT FUCKING HURTS!!!! Oh my god, I've almost started crying a few hours ago it hurts so bad, I don't even wanna eat because the one time I did bite down there after several days of not it fucking hurt! I legit don't know what I'm gonna do for the next 3 days with this, What should I do, you can't really go to the hospital for something like this all I can do is elbow up and endure

Use Orajel 4X and try to keep the area around the crack as clean as possible without disturbing the tooth and gum by overbrushing or flossing.

Orajel mouthwash, hydrogen peroxide/warm water mixed 50/50, warm salt water, and the nuclear option is clove oil.

I've used all of these to good effect for toothaches.

Ibuprofen is going to be the best over the counter pain medication for toothaches as well.
My head's not torn off, my sunglasses aren't broken. Amen, hallelujah, peanut butter.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you, I can finally calm down mentally, I'm tired bro. Inow I have to think about how much this will cost me once I get there because even if it's their fuck up they definitely aren't gonna fix it for free.

When I had tooth pain, I ended up sleeping sitting up. Laying down made it insanely painful, so keeping my body upright was the only option. Survive on jello and applesauce for the next few days, don't eat anything extremely hot or cold, and avoid drinking using straws or smoking.
The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes. That's fact.
Everything else, is theory.

Buffalo Trace is a pretty good whisky.

You should also take some anti inflammatory drugs alongside the Tylenol. But take less Tylenol if you drink a lot of whiskey.

i hope your tooth gets better real fast (i'm serious). tooth related pain is one of the few things i can handle. can't even sleep through it either.

some of the above answers seems to work especially orajel at least it'll buy some time you can rest without it acting up.

i'm going to dread having to go to dental work when i get approved (have so much rotted, busted teeth). going to ask if they can do it in parts so i can chew food effectively (that's my main concern more than anything).

I wouldnt recommend any Tylenol and alcohol, that shit will wreck your liver.

I've been through dental pain and there ain't no enduring that. Call around for dentists that may be able to do an emergency extraction on short notice.

My experience with my one root canal was the total opposite. Disabling pain, instantly cured with a root canal. Sure, the novocaine was part of that, but the pain did not return.

There's no kind of charity paperwork you can fill out for this sort of thing? Maybe the dentist or receptionist know something?

This topic shows me just how charmed I have been with regards to my teeth. I haven't always taken the best care of my teeth, yet I still have all of them. Granted, one of them is a crown, but I have a few fillings and some chips that have been fixed. Tooth pain sounds like a really bad fucking time.

Much the same here. Apparently I even have a cracked tooth, but it's not causing any trouble.

Hopefully TC's pain gets fixed sooner rather than later.

Dental pain is horrendous and difficult to treat. NSAIDs and nerve blockers are just about your only defense. The company that finally figures out how to treat dental pain effectively will make megabucks.

I really hope you can get this taken care of quickly. It can be genuinely crippling.

Going to give you the best advice on the board. Something that helped me out tremendously when I needed a root canal was Sensodyne Repair and Protect. It has a slight numbing effect. It's not a replacement for pain killers but my god did it help out a ton.

That orajel max is pretty powerful it should get you by when it flares up at least, also you can use temporary filling which they sell OTC
