Most people would be.
It is not an unpopular opinion. It is a controversial opinion.

She won the popular vote.

Well that's setting the bar pretty low for her. An actual orange oompa loompa would have been better than him.

I would take anyone over Shitler
She could literally sit there for 4 years doing nothing but eat hot pockets and be a superior option.

Fox News would of course go on about the 33k hot pockets she deleted.
I have a hard time imagining eligible people that would've been worse than Trump.
Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

Agree. She's terrible too but Trump is much worse.

This isnt an unpopular opinion.

The issue is just like with Kamala, during the election a copious amount of time was hyping her up to be "just as bad as Trump" if not worse...., or "im totally voting Hillary, you should too.... but here's a list of reasons why shes so awful."

Id argue the more unpopular opinion is our side doesnt desperately need to add a caveat to how awful our general election candidate is. Optics matters, and the average American soaks in our sides pessimism towards our own candidates.

I think it's important to remember 2016 in the context of Clinton being perceived as more of the same
This is hardly an excuse. Even before MAGA became even more unhinged, Trump was spouting some very damaging stuff that was more of the same.... but worse. Like not being a politician..... yet has been dipping into politics for years. Or the, "Im a successful businessman" false routine he still banks on.

Also Trump capitalized on several things that had less to do with being more of the same. Including the country hating a black man as president given he spent 4 years prior claiming the Democrats were supporting an illegal immigrant for President, who apparently was a Muslim Atheist married to a man. Then after a black man, we were going to follow up with a woman?
A fucking moldy egg salad sandwich would be a better president than Trump.

Better? Yes. Good? No.

That's kind of the point. At the time a not-insignificant number of people perceived him as a "wild card" and considered the election to be more of the same versus a gamble, however inaccurate that perception turned out to be. And yes, of course, racism and sexism played significant roles as well.
But then that goes back to my original post of why some of that perception was in Trumps favor. Our own side contributes to helping Trump in their endeavor to only appear morally clean.

Even our own side doesnt understand optics matters. The average American soaks in our sides pessimism towards our own candidates. Which affects the perception that Trump isnt that bad.

To this day, we have so many that still dont grasp this.
Obvious bad faith topic is obvious.
Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly, the ill deeds, along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest.. is silence.
shes an awful person

but yeah, she definitely would be better than Trump

we still have people blaming the DNC for "forcing" hillary on people

they wont come out and say it but they wanted the DNC to reject the will of the voters and put their beloved saint bernie on the ballot isntead even thoe she crushed him in the primaries
