None of my business.
Reading the title, my first thought to reply was, "Dating an 18 year old may be legal, but it's probably immoral." Then I looked at your name and realized you made that other topic. Not saying it's sketchy, but it definitely something.Ok and what does my other topic say, that just because something is legal doesnt make it moral, NOT the other way round, maybe some reading comprehension please, interesting that your mind went straight to an 18 year old tho
For me -- yeah. I dated someone 9 years younger than me (I was 36, they were 27) and that was challenging at times in terms of pop culture references or general life progression (professional progress, kids or lack thereof, etc). How long did you date for?
None of my business.
Old weirdos in Hollywood are always dating women way too young for them, as long as everyone involved is a consenting adult I don't give a shit
How long did you date for?
About 3 years. We didn't have enough quality time together, in retrospect. And we both sucked at communication. What happened in the end, did you meet someone else?
Not that different from when I was 44 and my wife (then gf) was 28. It has never been an issue.
Yes?
A little surprised by this topics reaction, I'm so used to the gen-z/alpha perspective that virtually all age gaps are bad regardless of context or actual ages. That's mostly Twitter outrage
I still stand by that tinge of discomfort I initially expressed in my self-deleted post. Mostly because there still is a maturity gap, I just think back to when I was 26 and I felt like I knew how the world worked but I just didn't.Then that is for them to work through as a couple, same as any other potential issue. But it isn't inherently bad.

Honestly, I do lean into the "mind your own business" category, especially after like 25.

IDK, it's probably fine.

just because something is legal doesnt make it moralThat's basically what I just said.
Two consenting adults are free to do as they please.
No and why do you care so much OP?I dont care, why do people say this in all my topics, i never see anyone else getting called out for caring
When I was 20, I dated a woman who was 42.
I dont care, why do people say this in all my topics, i never see anyone else getting called out for caringIf you didn't care then why even make the topic?
If you didn't care then why even make the topic?Look out guys, the topic police are out. Its my god given right thats why
You're the only one who cares about the age gapok buddy
