Nah. It was a fun, quirky title that I really enjoyed, but definitely not one of the best games ever. It does have a great story, a nifty art style and good-not-great characters, but there's not a lot of game to the game. The conversation sim parts are literally one strike you're out, and then the puzzles are either braindead or, in the case of the circuit breaker, total garbage. Then there's the
suffocation
part where the time limit is so short you literally just have to already know what you're supposed to do. By no means did I hate the game, mind you. It just has a lot of room left for improvement.
Another DS game from the same company, by the name of Trace Memory, though, definitely
is
one of the best games ever. It used the DS hardware a
lot
better, it had satisfying puzzles, and I think I actually like the story and setting even more. The characters are again good-not-great, but it's a bit of a nitpick really.
