At least three separate sources, including his former campaign manager, have said he knew it was a Totenkopf and he's a military history buff. Oh, and according to CNN, they reviewed text messages provided by their source that details him discussing it as a Totenkopf years ago.
He only covered it up after lying about it.
and that is useful context, I understand getting a cool looking tattoo (in their mind) not knowing it what the symbol means, but once you find out, you have to respond and cover or remove it.
kinda figure going into politics this guy would thought about the image he would create with that, guess he wasnt that smart
so yeah, now Im understanding the problem with the guy
