Read that across the whole chain, like almost 16 percent increase in business compared to olive garden , it was like , 1 percent iirc. Last yr or so Roadhouse surpassed olive garden to be the top casual dining chain in the u.s.

Every time I have dinner with my parents thats where they want to go.

Its alright but always packed. I figured it was because its always a holiday when Im visiting them.

My sister took my teens there because all their classmates had been raving about the one that opened in town. My kids were unimpressed. Guess they have much more expensive tastes.

Id have to look at a menu to be sure but I think I remember the prices being pretty good for all the food I got.

The one here has been here for years and it's been crowded from day one, so in recent years we've gotten our order to go. Nobody in our family likes crowds and the noise gets to me.

Its probably one of the few big chain restaurants to my knowledge thats managed to maintain a good cost to quality ratio in my opinion.

I love Texas Roadhouse. The rolls are great! I've been eating there with my family since as long as I can remember at this point.

I've been eating there since I was a little kid in the 90s with my family. Though, I could have sworn the one we went to at my home town was just called "Roadhouse", and then much later they remodelled it as Texas Roadhouse.

The rolls with the cinnamon butter are amazing. Always enjoyed the peanuts too. Haven't been there in a long while though

I don't understand the love Texas Roadhouse gets. It's full of people, but I had something basic like a burger and it was pretty bad.

I remember ordering takeout from them about a couple months ago and it being pretty good food. Gave me a lot, as well. I guess the portion sizes while not being that expensive is what's making them popular these days.
