The thing I've noticed with AI is that while the quality of the videos has become more impressive over the years, it still only produces a couple seconds of video at a time before having to cut away. My prediction is a few years from now that will still be the case and people will still be saying "AI can only make short videos now, but imagine when it can make full movies!"
If the ability to make movies ever becomes possible it will likely be limited to the rich. It's not something that's going to be freely available. And I think the AI bubble is likely to burst before then because it's costing them more and more money. The only reason AI has been more persistent in sticking around than crypto and NFTs, which were touted as the next big thing but you hardly hear about anymore, is because unlike those two it's free. The moment that goes away, so does AI.
