Yeah, there are plenty of things to mock the lady for, but this isn't one of them.Yeah. I have a couple cousins who have passed the CA bar. One was extremely nervous when she took it but she took it right out of law school. The other, though he did study for it, didn't stress out about it. Both passed on their first try but my cousin who didn't stress says his clerk experience was more helpful than any additional studying he did for it. In both cases, they told me what they thought of the exam, how difficult it was, and the statistics for passing it. Calling out people who fail this exam isn't exactly the flex they think it is, otherwise, they should just go pass it themselves and start making that big California lawyer money.
At least she attempted 4 times. I remember my friend going into depression over failing once. Took him a good amount of time to try again, but he did pass it on his second try. As someone who did pass his CPA exam on his first try, I don't think I can give any people shit for failing their License exams in anything.I mean she has nothing better to do and if a law career doesn't take off she still has plenty of money to fall back on. Most people who take the bar have basically chosen their career path and not passing is akin to them having to replan their entire life lol. Lots to stress about for the average bloke. Your link says 70% of first time test takers passed in February, which is... not "about half" failing.The February 2025 test was an outlier and I would consider the 65.3% of all takers for this more so since this is a competitive test. The numbers were revised to add an additional 230 people who passed it from the initial statistic.
