I found out that it is indeed the case, so I benched Batarang in favor of Veggie. I head to the S.S. Anne and mow down everyone inside, including Hitler again, who can't seem to take a hint. I receive HM Cut and then take a detour to get HM Flash and head back and battle the trainers east of Cerulean for exp. While there I acquire Bomb Squad the Voltorb .I head back to Vermilion and enter the third gym.
