You do realize you don't have any control of what type Hidden Power is in the actual games, don't you?
My Jolteon does know Shadow Ball now that I got enough to buy the TM from game corner.
...and yes, Arcanine does need both those moves as Fire Blast only has 5 pp.
I mean, I'm not trying to battle this team competitively online, I'm using it to do a Nuzlocke run against in-game CPU trainers, and it is built as such.
