This is like the confidence challege, except you pick who you want to win. The rules are very simple. Every round, you pick who you want to win IN THE FIRST ROUND most to least. You rank your picks in order of how much you want them to win. Not who you think will win, who you want to win, that's the point. Ignore matchups. Just rank who you want to win. You could go +16 Rangers and +15 Sens. As long as it's who you want to win the most to least. In the first round, you pick +16, +15, +14, +13, +12, +11, +10, +9, +8, +7, +6, +5, +4, +3, +2, and +1.Then you redo it in the second, third and fourth rounds.

For the first round, you use the following format to make your picks. NOTE: This is just an example, these are NOT my picks for the first round.
+16 Blackhawks
+15 Capitals
+14 Wings
+13 Devils
+12 Kings
+11 Penguins
+10 Senators
+9 Sharks
+8 Rangers
+7 Predators
+6 Bruins
+5 Flyers
+4 Canucks
+3 Blues
+2 Panthers
+1 Coyotes

This would mean you are MOST wanting the Blackhawks will win and LEAST wanting the Coyotes will win.

And yes, this is a total rip of Smuffin's topic

Also, you're not trying to win this with the most points, it's just to see who's fortunes are best, it's not really a contest.

This is just to see who had the most satisfaction with the playoffs

Penguins vs Flyers
Panthers vs Devils
Bruins vs Capitals

Canucks vs Kings
Blues vs Sharks
Coyotes vs Blackhawks
Predators vs Red Wings

So this is overall who I want to win the whole Cup, not who I'd want to see win in the first round. Because i.e. I'd rather the Flyers lose in the first round than the Rangers since the Penguins are my 2nd favorite team, but I hate the Rangers more so I want them overall to win less. And otherwise the Panthers would be +1 because I sure as hell don't want them winning in the first round.

also, i know everyone's thinking "oh, well if I rank them in the first round, what's the difference with the second round?"

Yes I thought of that, and as you all know, you tend to hate certain teams more after a round and root for teams more after a round. >_>
