At least you picked Red Mage. ProJared is currently running through with a Thief on his LP Channel, and now I know why people say they suck.
Red mage and warrior are carrying my team right now but I imagine the other mages will have more utility later
Also, I don't know how they work in FFI but I generally dislike thieves in RPGs so he was never under consideration
