Congrats to all of the winners! In particular, that 8th place guy did a pretty great job!

Edit:
We've added badges for those who participated in the contest. The levels are as follows:
1: Awarded to users who entered a bracket
2: Awarded to users who finished in the Top 1000
3: Awarded to users who finished in the Top 100
4: Awarded to users who finished in the Top 10
5: Awarded to users who finished with the top score of 83

We've also given out karma to those who did well in the contest. Anyone who finished above the median score of 40 earned 50 karma and anyone in the top 100 overall received 100 karma.

I'm a badge n00b who hasn't looked at my karma in forever, so I can't tell if you counted me in the top 100 or not. My score of 76 is in a nineteen-way tie for 87th place...not sure where I'm placed between 87th and 105th

Whatever the case, thanks for the contest! I hope you have a game or character-driven bracket soon!

aw man, i should've tried harder on my tiebreaker. was sitting at the top of the leaderboard before. :(

on the plus side, cool, i have a badge!
yet all sailors of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness

Check your badges. If you have level 3, you were top 100. There are only 100 people at level 3 or higher, so the people in your group who lost the tiebreakers should only be level 2.

I'm really surprised at how many brackets were not prize brackets. I've never won anything before despite entering almost every contest, so I'm thrilled! Too bad I didn't put a lot of thought into the tie-breaker, had no idea how important it would end up being.

Congrats to the winner though, and all those people initially ranked out of the top 10 that ended up winning a prize! Must feel good.

So, I did receive a 50 point Karma jump. Crazy, I'm now I'm only 152 instead of 202 away from 5000.

Oh yeah 34th place. Could have been like 12 places higher if my tiebreaker answer wasn't 1,600,000 baby. Best tiebreaker answer ever. I've gotten a 0 bracket and quite possibly the worst tiebreaker answer ever.
