I actually liked the second season, and the third season was great as I was told.

I did not like the fourth season. There were cool moments. Specifically Toph, and Bolin remained a good character at least, plus Meelo and other random parts were good. Also Toph, can't forget about Toph because she's fucking awesome even as an old lady.

Otherwise it was pretty weak, I think. I'm especially sore about the avatar link not being reconnected, I wanted to see more of adult Aang.

kuvira and toph really carry season 4 for me. korra is really good in S4 too.

the show never does reach the epic scope of TLA though :(

I didn't like S4 as much as others but Kuvira and the very ending were A+

S3 is ATLA tier though

TLA is a far superior show to Korra. S3 is the only time it's almost as good as the original. It's not a coincidence that the best episodes in Korra are the ones where she's in a coma, says nothing, and we follow the first Avatar who has nothing to do with any of the main characters.

Seriously though, I hate Mako.

Eh, Mako's alright.

I didn't like Kuvira though. I felt like she had no reason to go completely psychotic evil bitch. Then just turned it all around at the end after she was willing to destroy an entire city to get her way. Her progression as a character didn't feel right. She did have some cool moments at least.

The ending wasn't all that great either. It left me feeling a bit empty whereas TLA left me feeling all warm and fuzzy. Although we already established that this show is nowhere near TLA.

I need another show to watch now, something similar to this series. I'm at a loss.

Kuvira makes a lot of sense if you consider she's from the earth nation which gets constantly shat on by the elites of the other nations and especially Republic City. She's a standard populist.

And she's from the country that built a big wall!

I get that, it's just that she went really extreme and it was kind of weird considering she had good intentions from a certain point of view.

On another note, I didn't end up liking Korra as much as I thought I would, considering I love the water benders most (that's probably why I ended up enjoying season 2 a lot). I guess because she's the complete opposite to Aang, who was just a much better Avatar.

A number of staff from these series moved on to Voltron: Legendary Defender on Netflix.
how dare you have such a wrong opinion about season 4

Excellent, I appreciate the self-awareness.
