For those who have a Switch and want to give it a try, the free demo is up on the eshop. The game will be coming out in a couple weeks so if you are on the fence on if you want to get it or not, give it a try!

If anyone here wants to do some hunts with me, the demo has online co-op as well!

Monster Hunter World is also freshly out on PC and is a pretty darn good game for newcomers to the series! Dunno if I can handle doubling down on Monster Hunter games, but I'll at least be checking this demo out. I've heard Generations is really different from the rest of the series gameplay wise and supposedly Ultimate has a flat out absurd amount of content.

Yeah the amount of content in Ultimate is actually crazy. It's one of the reasons I can't wait to play it. Along with the fact that it has playable Palicos, I love that there's going to be so much variety in monsters and weapon sets etc

Downloading the demo right now, been waiting for GU since it was finally announced (and its part of why I got a Switch to begin with), I feel like I should wait for the full game but when given the temptation, I cannot resist the urge to see Barioth again...and experience Valstrax for myself

Yeah prior to today I had heard his theme and thought it was decent but nothing special, but after actually hearing it while fighting him, I love it. Fits him perfectly.
