The way these contests are formatted There isn't much day. Only in the west do we get half a day..when most of the kids are in School.
School doesn't really matter these days because of smartphones. People can vote whenever.. but we still get a substantial amount of people voting during the day, just not in one big chunk like with the ASV.
We've seen AAA and kid friendly characters gain about 1% in the final 12 hours still.
