Have a short time then 1 bus trip to decide.

Never did the Water parks.

I'd say skip both and have a rest day.

I worked with Disney World for 2 years and Im telling you Typhoon Lagoon. More to do overall.

However Blizzard Beach is more Thrills and High Speed Fun and Typhoon Lagoon is better for the younger ones.

Depends on the age group of your group.

I have dreamed about Blizzard Beach all my life without ever going. Go there and post pictures.

Rest will be had in the lazy river. Slides are a bonus.

Oh, you have rest periods.

But you are an absolute mad man if you take a whole rest day! Lazy rivers are incredible though.

(I have nothing to add to this, sorry. I'm a Universal guy.)

If traveling with kids though, a rest day in the middle of your vacation is a nice thing.

When I went down to Universal in January kidless, there was no rest, only Harry Potter.

So no one got on the bus to typhoon lagoon.

About 30 got on for blizzard beach.

Maybe regretting decision.
