Hmm... the opening scene in that is the Casino. At first I thought her awakening scene was the Art Gallery but after looking at it a bit more I think it's a new dungeon.

That's a terrible comparison because Akechi is a 3rd tier character pretending to be a 2nd tier character. He was just deeply underwritten.

I guess I care just enough not to highlight the spoiler, but it might be a good idea to put your post in spoiler tags since I'm like 99% sure I know what was in Reg's spoiler tag based off reading your post.
Just to be clear, it's my own fault for reading the thread when spoilery things were being posted that could have things inferred from them, and I'm personally not that worried about it since I'm not particularly invested in P5's plot anyway.
