I like basically every kind of coffee
Cold brew is a nice novelty but I tend to come back to a simple Americano more than anything.
But also Flat White, Cappuccino, Espresso are great
I love it out of the french press, Nespresso is ok

I got a pack of these for my birthday. I really liked them. Instant coffee but better than instant coffee.
Interesting, so you just pour hot water into that and then pour it out through the spout? I have some decent instant coffee that I took on a hiking trip but never ended up using, but this seems like if would also work nicely.
Have you had Kyoto cold brew (slow drip)? It definitely has a different taste compared to standard cold brew from what I've had
If I'm going to a Starbucks, it's generally a white chocolate caramel mocha or some fancy seasonal thing.

Yeah. You have to seal it up and leave it 5 or so minutes to brew.
Never had that before. What kind of different taste?
I often get coffee black due it being available everywhere but I am fond of red eyes, Americanos and will get them if available. I love a good green tea latte when I'm not looking to get caffeinated.
I drink coffee every day, but don't know/understand half the coffee related words used in the opening post.
nitro cold brew?
moka pot?
That said, I use a Keurig machine with a reusable kcup. I typically buy 10-12oz bags or if I am feeling adventurous find a store that has a coffee grinder and select from their bins.
Cream and sugar is a must.
As for a small specialty shops, I've come to be a fan of whiff roasters. They have a million different flavors and I have not had a bad one yet.
I only drink it hot or frozen (like at dunkin donuts, the ice cream variant at dairy queen, or just coffee ice cream).
Nope, waste of money.
Less heavy on the chocolate notes compared to traditional cold brew. Kind of almost feels like a blend of what you get from cold brew and a pour over or French press.
Im not a hobbyist, but I absolutely love the taste of coffee. Espresso is good, but Ill usually consume normal coffee with a little milk or something to cool it off. Unfortunately, my body just cannot deal with the caffeine correctly. The rush is good, but about four hours later I want to die.
Even decaf has some in there. Whenever Im tired, I have to give myself a pep talk about drinking water and eating correctly instead of reaching for this stimulant.
LOVE coffee. I'm a two cup-a-day guy.
I have a Nespresso that I use for quick morning-cups, but I also often like to visit different coffee shops around the area to sample their cortados (my favorite drink). I used to be a french-press guy, but once I got the Nespresso I became super lazy for my at-home cups.
It's so interesting to see people affected by caffeine. Many people around me seem to have a genuine change in attitude and/or behaviour after drinking coffee
Am I cursed for not being able to benefit from this or blessed for not getting the negatives?
Also my wife is not affected by caffeine at all and will sometimes drink coffee right before bed and immediately fall asleep.
Meanwhile I have a harder time sleeping if it's been less than like 9 hours since I drank an espresso.

This is my partner too. He's addicted to the bottled Starbucks mocha frappuccinos and can drink them immediately before bed just fine. He knows they're a waste of money and tries to recreate them with regular coffee and chocolate milk instead, but he's never successfully weened himself off of them.

You should tell him to start buying the jugs instead. It's basically the same stuff but better value
I don't really like it and would rather get tea or chocolate most of the time.
But if it's sufficiently hidden I don't mind it. Or if it's 'Irish-style'.

I thought you didn't drink?
COLD BREW ON TAP?
What. The. Eff. Best. Office.
I tried coffee on a number of occasions, but it is definitely not for me, the conclusion from my own tastes is that coffee of all types tastes awful.
I've only ever had coffee that I enjoyed once. I don't drink coffee, but I have a friend that made a pot and convinced me to try it, he gave it to me black and it was fucking delicious. I don't know what he did, but I have never had coffee that good before and haven't had coffee that good since.
